For the World Tapas day, the Director of the Spanish Tourist board (het Spaans Verkeersbureau) Mrs. Ana Román organized in collaboration with ‘De Kookfabriek’ and top Spanish Restaurants: El Pincho, La Bulería, Hollandaluz, La Flamenca, Pica Pica, Tapasbar Bodega 59, Señora Rosa and Spanish.nl, a superb tasting of Tapas accompanied by the beautiful wines of la Rioja.
And what a marvelous journey through the riches of Spanish gastronomy at “de Kookfabriek” in The Hague it was, with as guest of honour the Spanish Ambassador, Mr Fernando Arias and his spouse Mrs. Patricia van Oordt De Arias.
Tati Gómez, Meyer & Co and Spanish.nl treated us to cava and ibérico ham and during the show cooking, renowned Spanish cook Iago Castrillón generously shared with us some of his secrets and then prepared the most delicious tapas for us!
